It come to my attention during a personal research project that the Android Operating Systems’s security lock screen, normally secured with a password, PIN, or even biometrics on certain phones, is easily bypassed with a simple SMS message sent. The process involves using a very popular application called HANDCENT SMS, currently at version 4.5.

This is the kernel powering Android Atrix 4G MROM, it’s main focus is battery life. After some requests from users, I decided to simply share the kernel to allow the use on any CM7 and GB ROMs. This is a branched off version of faux123 kernel for atrix. He did an amazing job putting this kernel together allowing me to tweak it just enough to improve battery life. I created 2 separate versions, one for CyanogenMod 7.2 and the other one for Gingerbread or Blur.
For CM7 and GB, you can choose 2 types of kernels, the sv (Software Driven Voltages) or hv (Hardware Driven Voltages), I could not really establish the best battery saver kernel, it really depends on your personal usage.
The kernels run at maximum of 1 GHZ.

With the Android Operating System, or any other Operating System for that matter, it is important to keep your data safe so that in the event of a catastrophic failure, you are able to restore your applications together with all your data. Smart Phones are becoming used more and more so their data becomes more important every day.
Keeping you data backed up can be easily achieved by using applications designed for that specific purpose, which bottom line, is what we care about.
Fortunately, Android already keep much of your data safe in the cloud attached to you Google account, in the event of a failure, re-using your Google account guarantees that the Google services used prior are backed up and restored. If you always wanted an equalizer application for Android, this is the post for you. You can finally use the famous DSP Manager application (not available in the Android market) to add equalizer capabilities to Android.
DSP Manager allows audio manipulation controls of the different output devices, headset, speaker, and bluetooth; things like Loudness, virtual room emulation, and equalizer controls.
I don’t know about you, but I have been waiting for DSP Manager to be available without have to change the .so library for compatibility.

Sometimes you may find that the accounts setup in MotoBlur are giving you problems, or gets out of sync with the Morotola servers, and you would like to reset it. The following process will walk you through resetting the Motorola MotoBlur account, for reset I mean, re-syncing the account with Motorola.
First of all, I recommend doing this in a shell environment, but you can always use the built-in file manager of your choice, if you don’t know which file manager to choose, refer to my Best Android Applications post.
Secondly, a basic understanding of what a directory and a file are. If you don’t understand these basic concepts, then I recommend performing a full data reset/wipe.
